OUR STORY
Boho Beach Gypsy began with a dream and desire to create beautiful and intricate jewellery inspired by the ocean.
Founder, Karen Murray, brought Boho Beach Gypsy to life in 2020, combining her love for the treasures of the ocean with her interest in jewellery-making.

She began her journey of jewellery-making back in 2016 by collecting the sea glass and driftwood washed up on the shores. She started wire wrapping the aqua sea glass and using it to create jewellery. Enjoying the experience, she sought out silver smithing classes and has since been further developing her skills and building her studio.
During this journey, Karen has broadened her creative skills when it comes to designing new pieces which has led her to her discovery and love of all things Karen Hill Tribe – the marriage of her silver smithing and the use of Karen Hill Tribe beads and gemstones to create harmony with nature.
She has learnt about and found peace in crystals and their meanings along the way, and values the importance of connecting with the crystals to encourage a peaceful and harmonious life.
Prior to establishing Boho Beach Gypsy, Karen led a busy corporate life and struggled to find time to do the things she enjoyed most. Since leaving her corporate life behind, she has been busy working on her silver smithing and beading techniques, getting her studio ready, and creating some amazing designs which we can’t wait to share with you.
Bound by guardian spirits – the sun, ocean, moon; soft breezes, waves lapping, sandy toes, salt kissed hair.
